The company was started in 2001 by Frank Terlep and Kreg Jetsel. Frank and Kreg have more than 36 years of combined experience designing, developing, marketing, selling, installing, training, and supporting body shop software. Here is a brief overview of their experiences;

Co-Founder and President: Frank Terlep

• 20 Plus Years of Technology Experience in Auto and Collision Industries
• 2 Time Entrepreneur
• Past Chairman of CIECA
• Past Chairman of CIC E-Commerce Committee
• Direct involvement with design, development, and deployment of of eight different technology solutions Collision Repair industries.
• 1986 – 1990: Founded Automotive Solutions and Designed MARS and YES Management Systems
• 1990 – 1995: Led AKZO Systems team and helped design product and build organization into industry’s premier management system team at the time.
• 1995 – 1999: Mitchell International, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Mitchell Business Systems. (During this time built a team of 32 people from scratch and completed a “re-make” of Mitchell’s ABS management system product and industry image while increasing its market penetration from 425 installations to 1800.)
• 1999 – 2000: CarStation.com. (Built collision team to develop and deploy Internet technology solutions for collision industry. Helped design first Internet based parts procurement solution and Internet based Claims, Customer, and Communications system.)
• 2001 – Present: Co-Founder of Summit Software Solutions, Inc.

Co-Founder and Chief Software Architect: Kreg Jetsel

Mr. Jetsel has been designing software for the collision repair industry since 1990. During this time he has developed technology solutions for well-known companies such as Mitchell International, BASF, Houston Digital, and others. Mr. Jetsel completed his first commercial product, introduced in 1990, the DOS-based management system named 'Shop Logic'.

In 1994, Mr. Jetsel and his team completed his first Windows management system called Shop Logic for Windows. From 1995 through 2001 Mr. Jetsel and his team were also responsible for the following collision repair industry solutions:

• First Collision Shop Management Software to integrate with QuickBooks
• First Collision Shop Management Software with integrated Estimating Database
• First “Smart” Scheduling System for Collision Repair Shops
• First Internet-based Repair Status Tracking
• First Direct link from Big “3” estimating systems to QuickBooks Accounting Software
• First Shop Management Software with Integrated DCM (Document Management System)
• First International Shop Management Software developed in 4 different languages
• 2001 – Present: Co-Founder of Summit Software Solutions, Inc.
